Eleuthero

Eleutherococcus senticosus
TCMadaptogenenergyimmune-modulating

Also called Siberian ginseng (though botanically unrelated to Panax ginseng), eleuthero was extensively studied by Soviet researchers as a stamina and adaptogen herb for athletes, cosmonauts, and workers in extreme environments. Its eleutherosides modulate the HPA axis stress response, build physical and mental endurance, and enhance immune surveillance. It is gentler and better suited to long-term use than Panax ginseng.
